I always wonder who made the things I find. I have some vintage embroidered pillowcases that were given to me by an old lady that was our neighbor. She had them in her hope chest and never got married. It was so sweet of her to give them to me! I love neighbors that you can chat over the fence with, especially elderly people. It seems like most of the places we’ve lived I’ve made friends with them.
